Fund Health & Schools --
Tax the Rich!
Washington state needs to pass Initiative 1098. We have the most regressive
tax structure in the nation, and one of the largest concentrations of millionaires
in the U.S. It’s time to demand that the wealthy pay a fairer share!
I-1098 is a step in the right direction. It will tax individuals who make over $200,000 and couples who make over $400,000 annually to fund health care and education. Come join this educational discussion on the benefits of I-1098, and the need to overhaul Washington’s tax system. We deserve stable revenue sources to pay for social services that the current structure does not provide. Bring your ideas, concerns and questions! Speakers (in alpha order)
