DEMAND HUMAN RIGHTS AT TACOMA IMMIGRATION PRISON!
Monthly Demonstration/Vigil at NW Detention Center
1623 E. J St., Tacoma WA 98421(Tacoma tideflats)
Sat., Oct. 10, 12noon-3pm.
The Northwest Detention Center is guilty of violating its
1000 detainees human and constitutional rights. Recent studies
have brought this out. This prison performs work for the Dept.
of Homeland Security, but it is run by a private for-profit operator
named Geo. Geo profits from our taxes and from the suffering of
immigrant workers in detention. Geo owns many prisons nationwide.
Immigrant workers are being arrested, jailed and deported for the
simple act of working. This blatant discrimination must come to an end.
We will bring coffee and food, support and solidarity to visiting families
and loved ones at the detention center. An injury to one is an injury to
all!
