Demonstration Vigil at NW Detention Center
1623 E. J St., Tacoma WA 98421
SAT., November 13, 12noon to 3pm
The NW Detention Center on the Tacoma tideflats is on an environmental toxic superfund site.
The center has been found in violation of prisoners human rights, according to a study by
OneAmerica and S.U. School of Law. Many prisoners have no criminal record and are not
charged with any crime.
We will bring coffee and food, support and solidarity to visiting families and loved
ones at the detention center. Civil rights for immigrant workers! Shut down the detention
center!
