First find the picture you want on the internet. Right click on the picture and select “copy picture location.”

Alternately, before starting the story or in new window or tab use the menus on the left of this webpage to "Create Content" > "Image", upload the image to Media Island, then follow the above instructions on the image you create.  read more »

For youtube videos

First disable the rich text editor.

Then copy the imbed code (on the right) completely. Paste the embed code
in the body of the article.

You can also copy and paste the video description.

For google videos:

First disable the rich text editor.

On the right click the “Email, Blog, Post to Myspace” button

Then click the “Embed HTML” and copy the code completely. Paste the embed
code in the body of the article.

You can also copy and paste the video description.

Please refrain from pasting stuff with tables on the front page. It screws with the layout (on firefox at least). It may have been the align=right property on the image too. Anyways, check the front page (click home) after your posting. If there is something wrong with it, unclick enable rich-text in the editor, and remove align=xxx and all <table> properties... if that doesnt work, you need to remove the <table><td><tr></tr></td></table> tags too.
