Food Not Bombs

We discussed the Food Not Bombs program.  They are behind on their $ 10.00 per month fee. We discussed relations with Food Not Bombs.

House Issues

We discussed issues of residency and maintenance of the house.  We discussed using the carpet matting for the radio studio.
We discussed the needs of the attic area upstairs.  D said that he wanted to re-route the extension cord to make it easier to close the door.  We discussed re-doing the wiring to the upstairs. Dean remains interested in renting the room upstairs and said that he planned to attend the meeting tonight.

There is a band saw that is stored in the back yard that Chuks knows about. Tom will talk with Chuks about the future of the band saw. We should discourage storage of items such as this in the back yard.

Andy is planning to plant a maple tree on the other side of the sidewalk.  We still need a pollenator for the kiwi plant.

There will be a sign on the door to ask people to call the Media Island phone number with questions or requests for information.

Housing for Landen

Chris proposed that we encourage Landen to submit a proposal for a months stay in exchange for purchase of a new transmitter for the radio station.
We will encourage Landen to bring the proposal to the next meeting.

David May's proposal

D shared a proposal made by David May to the Commission on the Arts and Humanities.  David requested an amount of $ 15,000 of unspecified funding for Media islan
We discussed the development of this proposal.  D will work on the proposal to make improvements.  The Community Foundation has a research library across from the Farmers Market.  The may be a good place for David to do more research on grant proposals.
