Never Again? Fallout in Fallujah from US Seige worse than Hiroshima's

This article describes a recent study by the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) titled, "Cancer, Infant Mortality and Birth Sex-Ratio in Fallujah, Iraq 2005–2009." The study shows that depleted uranium munitions used by US soldiers in the seige on Fallujah in 2004 is likely causing similar, but even worse, sorts of damage to the people of Fallujah as that found in survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Crossroads to Change campaign posted a video documenting the continuing detention of a young woman for so-called mental illness, almost one year now. Her mother and some support people are shown in the video approaching Western State Hospital to obtain the documents of her continuance, signed the very day her mother sat awaiting a hearing in vain (they lied and told her mother that she had signed a voluntary commitment on herself, but that is not what the documents showed!).

Last friday, three officers were finally indicted by a federal grand jury for the post-katrina murder of Henry Glover, and the ensuing 5 year cover up.
The Murder of Henry Glover:
Henry Glover and his fiance Rolanda Short were residents of New Orleans 4th District when hurricane Katrina struck.
Like many African-Americans in New Orleans, Henry and his family were stranded without any supplies, and with no sign of help.
On the morning of September 2nd, running low on provisions, Henry had taken it upon himself to forage his neighborhood for food, water and charcoal for the couple’s extended family, now staying with them in their small home. read more »
