So as usual, I wuz sittin' an' stinkin' 'bout skool an' weather an' me an' ev'rythin' connected with these reel important things! I feel the weather turnin' cold an' see the leaves gittin' red an' brown an' shriviled an' old an' fallin' down an' it kinda reminds me of my granma. Sumtimes she's not feelin' so well an' she kinda gits outta breath an' doesn't have the time to play with me an' talk to me like she used too, when I wuz a little kid!? Mama explained to me that, "grandmother is getting older and she still loves you very much. As much as when you were younger, but she doesn't have the strength and energy like she did when she was younger and so she has to rest more and take care of her health. So you have to be patient with your grandmother and help provide the care for her, just as she provided care for you, when you were younger and still cares for you today, as best she can!" Wow, I feel like I havta do more for granma, but I'm not sure wut I'm s'posed to do? I'm already nice to her an' we're both gittin' older, so we're kinda even on that point! But OK, I guess she's in fronta me in the age race! But that's only, 'cause she wuz here before me, so she's the leader, naturly! Maybe me, granma an' the leaves are all in this stuff together an' each of us is doin' stuff, as good as we can, as time is goin' by! Wow, that's sum heavy thinkin' stuff an' kinda has poetry in it, too! So maybe I kin use this poetry stuff with the dragon-teecher at the dungeon skool an' make the time go faster in that place, with that dragon-teecher person? Plus, maybe I kin git sum extra credit for my ideas? Yeah, that oughta work! Man, all this sittin' an' stinkin' an' poetryizin' is exhaustin' an' makes me sleepy. Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz'n und Stink'n üba die Schule und das Wetter und mich und alles, was mit diesen wirklich wichtigen Sachen was zu tun hat! Ich merk, dass das Wetter kalt wird, und seh, wie die Blätter rot werd'n und braun und schrumpelig und alt und runter fall'n, und irgendwie erinnert mich das an meine Oma. Manchma' geht es ihr nich' so gut und sie bekommt irgendwie schlecht Luft und hat keine Zeit, um mit mir zu spiel'n und zu red'n, wie sie es sonst getan hat, als ich ein kleines Kind war? Mama erklärte mir: "Oma wird älter und sie liebt dich immer noch sehr. Genauso viel wie in der Zeit, als du jünger warst, aber sie hat nicht die Kraft und Energie, die sie hatte, als sie jünger war, und deswegen muss sie sich mehr ausruhen und auf ihre Gesundheit achten. Also solltest du mit deiner Oma Geduld haben und dabei helfen, dass für sie gesorgt wird, genauso wie sie sich um dich gekümmert hat, als du jünger warst, und sich heute noch um dich kümmert, so gut sie kann!" Wow, ich merk, dass ich mehr für Oma tun muss, aber ich bin mir nich' sicher, was ich tun soll? Ich bin schon nett zu ihr und wir werd'n beide älter, also sind wir an dem Punkt irgendwie gleich! Aber, okay, ich denk ma', in dem Rennen ums Alter is' sie mir voraus! Aber das auch nur, weil sie vor mir hier war, also is' sie in Führung, 'türlich! Vielleicht steck'n ich, Oma und die Blätter in dieser Sache zusammen drin und jeder von uns macht was, so gut wir könn'n, während die Zeit vageht! Wow, das is' echt schweres Zeugs zum Nachdenk'n und hat irgendwie auch was poetisches! So, vielleicht kann ich diesen Poetenkram bei der Drachenlehrerin in der Kerkerschule gebrauch'n und mach, dass die Zeit schneller vageht an diesem Ort mit dieser Person von Drachenlehrerin? Und, vielleicht bekomm ich 'n paar Extrapunkte für meine Ideen? Ja, das sollte funktionier'n! Mann, dieses ganze Sitz'n und Stink'n und Poesier'n is' anstrengend und macht mich müde. Grownupism!
1Day, When I Grow Up!
So as usual, I wuz sittin' an' stinkin' 'bout evrythin' an' nothin'!
An' as usual, the dragon-teecher is on my back as alwayz, botherin' me 'bout sumthin' or other?
She's always givin' me these kompliments loaded with nails inem!
She sez she likes my ideas, but my spellin' is awful!
I mean, I'm only a kid, what does she expect?
My ideas are on the paper, so why do I have to spell so perfekt?
It's the ideas that kount!
They got komputer's to correct spellin'!
Man, it's always sumthin' - plus she sed she'd contact my perents if my spellin' didn't improve!
Mano, dragon-teechers are spies, tattle tales an' slave drivers, all rolled into one!
Wut a kombination!
Sheda bin great in politics an' stuff, 'specially workin' for ol' Stetson Hat!'
As my father sez: "If it weren't for bad luck, ol' Stetson Hat wouldn't have any luck at all! And what's really bad about it, he likes to take a lot of people in the world with him on his bad luck trips! Boy, I hope the voters learned their lesson about choosing Hats more carefully in the future!"
Wow, I don't think my papa likes ol' Stetson Hat very much!
But hmmm, maybe I kin use his ideas for a dragon-teecher paper an' that'll sure help my grade an' give me sum breathin' room!
It's almos' holiday time an' with a little luck, maybe we'll getta reel big snowstorm an' it'll shut the skools for a lotta days!
Man, that'll be great!
Plus, they culd save a lotta money on heatin' all those big dull skool rooms!
Hmmm, maybe I shuld suggest closin' the skools to save money on heatin' oil?
The dragon-teecher will think I'm a humanetarien or sumthin' helpful like that an' I betcha she won't catch on, that I reely wanna get me an' my pardnurs outta those dungeon skools!
If I kin get this brilliant plan to work, kids all over the wurl'll thank me - forever!

All this smartness is makin' me tired.

Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz'n und Stink'n üba alles und nix!
Und wie üblich sitzt mir die Drachenlehrerin im Nacken, wie immer, und quält mich mit irgendwas oder was and'rem?
Sie macht mir immer diese Komplimente voll mit diesen Spitzen!
Sie sagt, ihr gefall'n meine Ideen, aber meine Rechtschreibung is' grauenhaft!
Ich mein, ich bin nur ein Kind, was erwartet sie?
Meine Gedanken sind auffem Papier, also warum soll ich so perfekt buchstabier'n?
Sind doch die Ideen, die zähl'n!
Die hab'n doch Komputer fürs korrekte Buchstabier'n!
Mann, irgendwas is' imma - und sie sagt, sie spricht mit mein' Eltern, wenn meine Rechtschreibung sich nich' vabessert!
Manno, Drachenlehrer sind Spione, Tratschtanten und Sklaventreiber, alles auf einma'!
Was 'ne Kombi!
Sie wäre super inner Politik und so'n Zeugs, besonders, wenn sie für olle Texashut arbeit'n würde!
Wie mein Vater sagt: "Wenn es kein Unglück gäbe, hätte olle Texashut überhaupt kein Glück! Und was die Sache wirklich schlimm macht, ist, dass er gerne eine Menge Leute auf der Welt mit sich ins Unglück laufen lässt! Junge, ich hoffe, die Wähler haben ihre Lektion gelernt, in der Zukunft die Hüte sorgfältiger zu wählen!"
Wow, ich glaube, mein Papa mag olle Texashut nich' besonders!
Aber, mmmh, vielleicht kann ich seine Gedanken für'n Drachenlehrerin-Aufsatz benutzen und das hilft bestimmt meiner Note und gibt mir Zeit zum Lufthol'n!
Is' schon fast Ferjenzeit und mit ein bißchen Glück bekomm' wir 'n richtig großen Schneesturm und die Schulen werd'n für viele Tage geschloss'n!
Mann, das wär' großartig!
Und sie könnt'n 'ne Menge Geld an der Heizung für diese großen dämlichen Schulräume spar'n!
Mmmh, vielleicht sollte ich vorschlag'n, die Schule zu schließ'n, um Geld für Heizöl zu spar'n?
Die Drachenlehrerin wird denk'n, ich bin ein Humanitärer oder irgend sowas hilfreiches wie das, und ich wette, sie wird's nich schnall'n, dass ich nur mich und meine Kumpels aus dieser Kerkerschule befrei'n will!
Wenn ich diesen brillianten Plan zum Lauf'n krieg'n kann, werd'n mir die Kinder auf der ganzen Welt dankbar sein - für immer!
Mann, bin ich klug!
Dieses ganze Klugsein macht mich müde.

1Day, When I Grow Up!
So, as usual, I wuz sittin' an' stinkin' 'bout now an' the future!
Aktually, I wuz thinkin' 'bout a specifik future!
Mine!
Speakina future, my perents alwayz tell me, peeple wanna no more 'bout me!
I don't know why, but Ok. Here goes.
I'm 10 years an' a boy, who is forced by his perents to go to borin' skool ev'ry day.
Well, at least ev'ry day the dungeon-skool is open an' that feels like ev'ry day!
My perents an' the dragon-teecher are alwayz sittin' on my back 'bout my spellin'!
But I figure, it's the ideas that count an' not the spellin'!
I kin lern that stuff when I'm old, like my perents an' the dragon-teecher.
What do I look like, well I look like ev'ry child in the wurl that's imprisoned in a skool they don't like, by deaf perents.
I look jes like ev'ry child in the wurl that fits that deskription!
So, theresa lotta us!
My name is Ev'rychild!
Xmas an' New Year are gone, for wut seems like forever, or at least until the end of the year an' a lot kin happen durin' that space an' time, that makes the wait seem like forever!
Me an' my pardnurs are back in the dungeon-skool an' under pressure, as usual!
You wuld think the dragon-teecher wuld git weaker as she gets older, but no way! She's still relentless with her skool-homework-torture, while all the while claimin' she's doin' it "in the name of education".
Man, ain't that sum stuff!?
I think she's been listenin' to ol' Stetson Hat too much an' jes cumin' up with all kinda excuses for makin' us kids lives - miserable!
I meen, she is the dragon-teecher-homework-queen!
She doesn't bite our neck or nothin' like a reel vampire, but she gits the blood an' flesh outta us another way!
'Course, the perents are alwayz on the teecher's side!
No matter wut!
Teechers kin do no wrong an' plus, "it's only for your future that the teachers are so demanding!"
So the perents alwayz sey!
For instance, 'cause it is cumin' up 'lektion time, we gotta write sum papers 'bout the kandidates.
Not jes one kandidate, but alla them!
Ok, I know wut to do in these emergency homework cases - straight to which ever perent is available!
I wuz listenin' to a very interesting diskussion between granma, mama an' papa, with my sister chimin' in ev'ry now an' then with her two cents!
Ok., I gotta admit, wut she sez sumtimes, makesa lotta sense!
So, near as I kin tell, I'm gonna tell the dragon-teecher on paper, sumthin' like this!
The peeple are lookin' for a great big change from the mess up time of ol' Stetson Hat an' his crew.
So, a change to the correct time looks like this -
The man from Illinois is a big favorite in my household an' a welcome relief from ol' Stetson Hat's stumble werk an' stumble mouth.
This man kin sey wut he meens an' he's an inspiration to peeple, all over the wurl!
Even Caroline Kennedy sed, he's the one an' I guess, it dosen't git much better than that, considerin' her family gave up so much, while tryin' to git America to straighten up an' fly right!
So that's wut I lerned from my family discussion and wut I'm gonna sey on paper to the dragon-teecher an' I gotta feelin' that even though she's a kinda zombie, she's gonna like to hear 'bout President Barack Obama.
Wow, all this politikin' is exhaustin'.

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz'n und Stink'n üba jetz' und die Zukunft!
Eigentlich dachte ich üba 'ne spezielle Zukunft nach!
Meine!
Jetz', wo ich's sag, meine Eltern erzähl'n mir imma, dass die Leute mehr üba mich erfahr'n woll'n!
Ich weiß nich' warum, aber okay. Hier also.
Ich bin 10 Jahre und ein Junge, der von seinen Eltern gezwung'n wird, jeden Tag in die langweilige Schule zu geh'n.
Na gut, jedenfalls an jedem Tag, wenn die Kerkerschule offen is', und das fühlt sich an wie jeden Tag!
Meine Eltern und die Drachenlehrerin häng'n mir imma im Nacken wegen meiner Rechtschreibung!
Aber ich denk ma', es sind die Gedanken, die zähl'n, und nich' die Rechtschreibung!
Das Zeugs kann ich lern', wenn ich alt bin, wie meine Eltern und die Drachenlehrerin.
Wie seh ich aus, nun, ich seh aus wie jedes Kind in der Welt, das in der Schule, die es nich' mag, eingesperrt is', von tauben Eltern.
Ich seh einfach aus wie jedes Kind in der Welt, auf das die Beschreibung passt!
Also, da gib's 'ne Menge von uns!
Mein Name is' Jedeskind!
Weihnachten und Neujahr sind, wie's scheint, seit ewigen Zeiten vorüba, oder zumindest bis zum Ende des Jahres, und da kann 'ne Menge passier'n in Zeit und Raum, was die Wartezeit ewig schein' lässt!
Ich und meine Kumpels sind zurück in der Kerkerschule, wie üblich!
Man sollte mein', die Drachenlehrerin wird schwächer, je älter sie wird, aber nix da! Sie is' imma noch erbarmungslos mit ihrer Schularbeitenfolter, während sie hin und wieder behauptet, sie mache das "im Namen der Bildung."
Mann, is' das nich' 'n Ding!?
Ich glaub, sie hat olle Texashut zu viel zugehört und denkt sich nur alle möglichen Entschuldigungen aus, um das Leben von uns Kindern jämmerlich zu mach'n!
Ich find, sie ist die Drachenlehrerinhausaufgabenkönigin!
Sie beißt uns nich' in den Hals oder sowas wie 'n richtiger Vampir, aber sie kriegt das Blut und Fleisch aus uns auf 'ne and're Art 'raus!
'Türlich sind die Eltern imma auf der Lehrerseite!
Egal was!
Lehrer könn' nix falsch mach'n und dann: "Es ist nur für deine Zukunft, weshalb die Lehrer so fordernd sind!"
Das sagen Eltern imma!
Zum Beispiel, weil bald Wahlen sind, soll'n wir 'n paar Aufsätze üba die Kandidaten schreib'n.
Nich' nur üba einen, sondern üba alle!
Okay, ich weiß, was ich in diesen Hausaufgabennotfällen zu tun hab - direkt zu einem Elternteil, das grad da is'!
Ich hab 'ne sehr interessante Diskussion zwischen Oma, Mama und Papa gehört, mit meiner Schwester, die ab und zu ihren Senf dazu gab!
Okay, ich muss zugeb'n, was sie manchma' sagt, is' sehr sinnvoll!
Also, so weit ich das sag'n kann, werd ich der Drachenlehrerin in meinem Aufsatz irgendwas wie das hier schreib'n!
Die Leute such'n nach 'ner bedeutenden großen Veränderung gegenüba der Vermasselzeit von olle Texashut und seiner Mannschaft.
Also, eine Wende zu der korrekten Zeit sieht wie dies aus -

Grownupism!
1Day, When I Grow Up!
So, as usual, I wuz sittin' an' stinkin' 'bout the wurl passin' in front of, behin', aroun' an' over me!
Sumtimes it's a pretty sight, 'specially when the sun's shinin' an' the weather's warm.
I kin almos' watch the trees growin' leaves an' the flowers blossmin' right before my eyes.
This is a pretty pikture of the wurl, an' me in it!
A pretty wurl an' me, all kombined!
Well, speakin' of kombinin', the dragon-teecher asked us slave kidz to write sumthin' 'bout President Obama an' the former monster lady, who might be a viz president!
I think it's spelled vice president?
Man oh man, nuthin' happens in the wurl without the dragon-teecher seein' it an' then the next thing you know, we gotta write 'bout it!
I don't know why we can't jes see it on T.V. an' then, cool it!
But no, ...
OK, I know where to git a quick fix for papers for skool!
Perents an' granma, here I cum!
After a wunderful mama dinner, I start quizzin' my perents for my dungeon-skool teecher paper.
Granma sed, "Well son, this is a huge change from what the world was expecting last summer.
Hillary Clinton was almost thought to be anointed to the presidency and along comes a man with a big dream, that eventually he was able to realize with the support of millions of people at home and abroad!
A source of inspiration for many people everywhere!"
Wow, I thought, granma is reely impressed with this fellow!
"Now there is a good possibility, that former foes are going to unite for the good of the country, the Democratic Party and perhaps, the world."
Boy oh boy, the dragon's gonna luv all this stuff!
"I only hope this team will produce offspring intended and capable of healing and uplifting many persons at home and abroad, who are desperate for new and constructive ideas, dialogue and then implementation of a constructive change in the way in which the world is directed!

Far out, I'm gonna entitle my paper "A Complexion Change! an' write down all the good stuff granma tol' me, while mama an' papa jes nodded in agreement!

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz'n und Stink'n darüba, wie die Welt vor mir, hinter mir, um mich herum und üba mir vorbei zieht!
Manchma' is' das 'n ganz schöner Anblick, besonders wenn die Sonne scheint und das Wetter warm is'.
Ich kann fast seh'n, wie die Bäume Blätter bekomm' und die Blumen aufblüh'n genau vor mein' Augen.
Das is' ein ganz schönes Bild der Welt, und ich mittendrin!
Eine schöne Welt und ich, alles vabund'n!
Nun, da wir grade üba vabund'n sprech'n, die Drachenlehrerin hat uns Sklavenkinder gebet'n, etwas üba Präsident Obama und die frühere Monsterdame zu schreib'n, die vielleicht Fiezepräsident wird!
Ich glaub, das buchstabiert man Vizepräsident?
Mannomann, es passiert nix in der Welt, ohne dass die Drachenlehrerin das mitbekommt, und das Nächste, was du weißt, ist, dass wir drüba schreib'n müss'n!
Ich weiß nich', warum wir das nich' einfach im Fernsehen seh'n und gut is'!
Aber nee, ...
Okay, ich weiß, wo ich 'ne schnelle Lösung für mein' Aufsatz für die Schule herbekomm!
Eltern und Oma, hier komm ich!
Nach 'nem leckeren Abendessen von Mama, fang ich an, meine Eltern für meinen Kerkerschule-Aufsatz auszufragen.
Oma sagte:"Nun, Sohn, dies ist ein gewaltiger Wandel von dem, was die Welt im letzten Sommer erwartet hat.
Von Hillary Clinton wurde fast gedacht, dass sie zur Präsidentschaft gesalbt wurde, und da kommt ein Mann mit großen Träumen, die er schließlich mit der Unterstützung von Millionen von Menschen hier und aus dem Ausland realisieren konnte!
Eine Quelle der Inspiration für viele Menschen überall!"
Wow, dachte ich, Oma is' echt beeindruckt von dem Kollegen!
"Jetzt besteht die reelle Möglichkeit, dass sich ehemalige Feinde zum Wohl des Landes für immer vereinigen, die Demokratische Partei und vieleicht die Welt."
Junge, Junge, der Drachen wird dieses ganze Zeugs lieben!
"Ich hoffe nur, dass dieses Team Nachkommen produziert, die beabsichtigen und fähig sind, viele Menschen zu heilen und aufzurichten, zu Hause und im Ausland, die sich inständig neue und konstruktive Ideen wünschen, Dialog und dann die Umsetzung eines konstruktiven Wandels in der Weise, in der die Welt sich ändert!
Ein Wandel im Erscheinungsbild!
Super, ich werde meinem Aufsatz den Titel "Ein Wandel im Erscheinungsbild" geben und all das gute Zeugs aufschreiben, das Oma mir erzählt hat, während Papa und Mama nur zustimmend genickt hab'n!
Junge, ich bin wirklich 'n glückliches Kind, auch wenn ich jeden Tag zur Schule geh'n muss.
